What is Touristr?
Touristr is an online travel guide. We want to be the best at finding the right information for each traveller.

We created Touristr with the ambition to organise and make relevant the worldwide travel information. In its first year, the website generated +3000 trips and travel stories across 126 different countries. +2M unique visitors used TouristR to connect with real travelling experiences. 

Over the course of its development, TouristR gleaned a number of innovative awards including the Eircom Web Innovation Fund and Seedcorn competition . Tourist Republic is partnering with DERI, the world largest research centre in semantic web. This initiative is supported by the European Innovation Partnership scheme.
